Most professional bios are pretty boring so instead of going down that same path I decided to answer some random questions that hopefully will give you a better understanding of who I am! You can always jump over to my LinkedIn page to see my more traditional professional resume here.
Abraham Lincoln. I admire Abe for his incredible ability to bring our country together in times of great strife and turmoil during the civil war as well as helping orchestrate the abolishment of slavery. He also was a man of integrity who led our country but was also down to earth and approachable treating every one of his fellow citizens with dignity and respect regardless of their social status.
A typical day usually consists of me on the phone or in meetings with clients or prospective new clients while also keeping abreast of the financial markets, news, and anything else important that is going on in the world. I also talk with other colleagues in my industry to share ideas and best practices as they pertain to investments and financial planning.
I play around on the acoustic guitar a little bit and try to pretend I'm a great singer-songwriter!
On the water somewhere! I am a Pisces and I love the water especially with a fishing rod in my hand.
I am a beer guy - preferably craft beer on tap but also like the old school brews like Coors Original.
Usually at church with my wife and son (assuming we didn't stay out too late Saturday night!)
My ability to listen in order to understand and know my clients. By really getting to know them, I can advise them with the right strategies to help them accomplish what they truly want to achieve. In addition to this is my ability to take more complex matters and break them down into more simpler terms that my clients can better understand. I am also a good educator of these things.
Authentic, Compassionate, Pragmatic.
The Wall Street Journal, Barron's, ESPN, and lots of various social media.
Being with my family! I am a husband and father to my new son Finn (in the pics).
Travel - I would love to step foot on every continent before I die!
